Wikkid Starr
Return To Glory
WIKKID STARR was originally formed in 2007 by veteran Hollywood vocalist Toney Richards and guitarist Ashlyn Childs but did not launch until 2015. Childs went missing in action for personal reasons and engineer Bill Krodel (Gilby Clarke, Great White, Bullet Boys, Dokken) passed away from cancer. The band has gone through several line-up changes but through it all, they have managed to attain some international success having played in South America in 2015, Argentina, Brazil & Uruguay and then returned again in 2016 to do three shows in Buenos Aires- with the highlight of the tour being a SOLD-OUT show at the Roxy on May 24, 2016- with WIKKID STARR opening up for fellow American Jeff Scott Soto. WIKKID STARR was able to establish a loyal following in Argentina and other parts of South America- which now include Brazil, Uruguay, Peru and Chile. The band also has a strong presence in Europe, Australia, South Africa, Canada, Israel and of course the U.S.A Since 2015, WIKKID STARR has opened up for many successful national acts which include some 70s and 80s acts like: Autograph, Y&T, Dokken, Great White, L.A. Guns, Bullet Boys,Bang Tango, Vixen, Vain, Pretty Boy Floyd, Faster Pussycat, Enuff '?' Nuff, Jeff Scott Soto, ASIA, Lou Gramm (Foreigner), Steelheart, Kingdom Come and XYZ to name a few
