Recorded by Boz Boorer, Cranes in the City has a unique sound that crosses the Smiths with new wave Brit-pop/mod rock. Cranes In The City began with a chance MySpace meeting between the band and Boz Boorer, guitarist, co-writer and musical director with Morrissey. Some pints and a year later they were recording the album at Boorer's studio in Portugal, joining the ranks of Adam Ant, David Bowie, Lily Allen and Edwyn Collins. The result is a unique sound that crosses the Smiths with new wave Brit-pop/mod rock.
