Upscale, jangly indie pop-rock that gracefully marries keys and guitars while taking pride in production. Having developed a devoted fan base playing local bars, The Coast charted on Ontario campus radio, which they parlayed into a cross Canada tour and the chance to open for Elbow, Islands and The Ladies and Gentlemen. With chiming guitars, soaring vocals, blissful melodies and bittersweet lyrics, theres something incredibly familiar about The Coasts sound that evokes Joshua Tree-era U2 guitars.
