Motherless Child

Motherless Child captures the raw emotion evoked in pleading to a higher power for help in times of need. Largely drawn from the African-American gospel/jazz tradition, this EP features minimalist arrangements of traditional classics and originals. Says Frost of the material, "these are the inspiring songs I sing to myself when Im alone and need to connect to spirit or need to get through hard times." Recorded at Operation Northwoods by Darryl Neudorf (Neko Case).
