Shazar, Pal
The Morning After
Pal Shazar was raised in NYC on a diet of Patti Smith, The Talking Heads, etc. and the explosive art-meets-music scene that inspired so many. Moving out to Los Angeles, she began working at the infamous Troubadour, cutting her musical teeth and forming a band called Slow Children. Cricitally acclaimed and achieving underground cult status, Slow Children eventually dissolved and Pal found herself continuing her musical journey. Collarborating with her former Slow Children partner, and her husband, Jules Shear, Pal found her own voice and branched out into painting, clothing design, etc. An eclectic talent, Pal is a multi-faceted artist. And this is very apparent on her seventh album, The Morning After, which is a musical landscape of changing moods and lush melodies
