Fractions

Lucas latest release, Fractions, is an excellent listen through and through. Gorgeous songwriting all around with songs that range from Beatles-esque pop to straightforward rock. Produced by the legendary Sean Slade (Radio Head, Hole, The Pixies), the album includes nine songs penned by Nick Luca himself as well as two cover songs, a shimmery version of Lou Reeds "Walk on the Wild Side" and Jonathan Richmans fun track, "I Was Dancing in a Lesbian Bar." With the guitar genius of Joey Unger and the sticks skills of Ryan Janac, both of Tucsons fan-favored Sunday Afternoon, and longtime friend and band mate Chris Giambelluca, Luca is officially in rock & roll territory and theyre feeling right at home.
