'Sitar And Strings' features The Nirvana Sitar & String Group doing covers of the day, utilizing an entire string section of cellos, violins and violas! The second album here, the 'Easy Rider' cash-in release 'Born On The Road', originally issued by German budget label Europa, features various German studio bands (mainly members of The Tonics and Asterix/Lucifer's Friend under their various monikers) doing popular covers of the time as well as originals. Also included here are The Petards and UK outfit John Deen & The Trakk, presenting songs from their own full-lengths on Europa! The CD is presented in a CD-format mini-LP sleeve.
