South Philadelphia's Longfriend Timefriend is a punk quartet composed of members Louie, Em, Pete and Caleb. "If Me Dies, Me Dies" is an exploration in a variety of subjects, unique harmonies and glistening hooks cut from the same cloth as some of the best sounds that have come out of the City of Brotherly Love in the past 40 years. LFTF leave the impression that they belong in that long chain of great Philly punk rock that's hard to categorize and doesn't rely too heavily on distortion, making them at times difficult for the listener to locate - kinda like the Rocky statue. IMDMD superbly crisscrosses between punk sub-genres; it should be appreciated as an extension of the tradition of Philadelphia's musical originality.
