Daily Grind: Seattle Glam Rock 1982
CD format with bonus tracks, limited to 500 copies. M-80 Productions and NW Metalworx Music join forces to release an album from Seattle 80's Glam Metal Pioneers LIPSTICK with Daily Grind: Seattle Glam Rock 1982-1984, featuring unreleased demos and never before heard live tracks. Formed by future Flight To Mars and Palooka lead vocalist Paul Passarelli and bassist Brett Miller in the late summer of 1982 in Bellevue, Washington, LIPSTICK was Seattle's answer to Motley Crue, with a healthy dose of Van Halen, Cheap Trick, Y&T and Kiss. Passarelli had seen L.A.'s glam metal scene firsthand before it completely broke out worldwide, and brought that influence back to the Pacific Northwest to create LIPSTICK by fusing a new punk/metal sound with makeup and garish clothing.
