Recital And More: The Pete Dello Years
Back in print, "Recital" and "For Where Have You Been: The Lost Tracks", on double LP as part of "The Honeybus Reappraisal Series". A Hanky Panky/Mapache Records release. With beautifully reproduced original artwork and newly commissioned work (gatefold cover, printed inner sleeves and notes by Thomas Walsh). The classic Honeybus line-up of Pete Dello, Colin Hare, Ray Cane and Pete Kirchner got back together again in 1971 to record new material, and although a new album entitlted "Recital" was scheduled to be released, only two singles finally emerged. This double LP set gathers together all those long unavailable recordings: "Recital", the Holy Grail for Honeybus fans: the band's long lost and originally shelved album recorded after they signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1972, beautifully remastered from Pete Dello's very own surviving test pressing, and "For Where Have You Been: The Lost Tracks", a collection of lost and rare tracks.
