Disciples Of Smut
The Old School Goregrind veterans GUT are back with a bang! For years it was quiet around the band, the last album "The Cumback" is already 14 years old. In 2020, however, GUT are back in the original line-up of the genre classic "Odour of Torture" and release "Disciples of Smut", an album that once again pushes the boundaries of the (co-) founded genres and manifests GUT's absolute unique selling point. "Disciples of Smut" resembles an atomic pile of malice built out of granite and already has the potential to become a definitive cult album, which will undoubtedly be the most extreme and evil album of 2020. If you listen the new album you will realize that the Goregrind drawer is much too small for this work. The album is a mixture of Goregrind, Bestial Black Metal, Death Metal, Doom, Noise and Drone. Faster, slower, harder, nastier, more atmospheric and metallic than anything GUT has ever done before. An old school album that either blows everyone's mind or can lead to a closing of ranks by fans of extreme music of any kind, but will definitely knock you out with its soundwall. "Disciples of Smut" was produced by Bonassis at Audiodrive Studio in Sinsheim. Andy Classen (Stage One Studio) is responsible for the drum recordings, Sunn Amps for the blaze. The guys got support from Martin Schirenc (Pungent Stench), Patrick Klopf (Disharmonic Orchestra) and Martin Maty MatouSek (Gutalax). The consummate Brad Boatright (SUNN O))), Poison Idea, Full Of Hell, Obituary, Vallenfyre...)
