In summer of 2006 PESSIMIST was founded in a bar in Weil am Rhein from a crazy idea out with the excuse to bring hell over the metal scene. Compared with SODOM, KREATOR and other German sizes, PESSIMIST have assigned to the Teutonic thrash metal, which has been proved with their debut album "Call to War" more than that. After changes in staff and tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland, PESSIMIST attacked their second album "Death from Above" which was recorded by Christoph Brandes in the Iguana Studios (eg Necrophagist, Unlight, Finsterforst). Nine grenades of violence, hate and gun salvos are fired to bring the thrash metal scene back to frontlines. So stand straight, PESSIMIST are coming.
