Flying Karpet, The
Flying Karpet
Obscure 1968 Mexican psychedelic gem, packed with raw, lo-fi versions of tracks by Jefferson Airplane, The Doors, The Monkees, The Byrds, Eric Burdon & The Animals, Brenton Wood and more. Recorded with a rough, spontaneous feel, the album captures the hazy atmosphere of a late-night recording session smoky, unpolished and full of psychedelic energy. A notoriously elusive original, now almost impossible to find, this Latin American psych rarity is given a new life in this reissue.
