Donder, Hel & Hagel (Thunder, Hell & Hail) is a new Belgian new wave/synthpunk outfit comprised of members of anarcho-ska-punk bands Ulrikes Dream, Usual Supsects, Cop on Fire and the industrial/dark ambient act Dead Mans Hill. Mainly sung in Dutch (with a bit of German and French mixed in) Lang Genoeg Beleefd Geweest! (Long Enough Been Polite!) touches on topics that concern all of us. "Barricades" preaches revolution, "Het Lied Over Piet" (The Song About Piet) tells the tale of a citizen that became an anarchist after voting for every party on the list, "Op De Boerderij" (On The Farm) takes it up for the animals in the farm, "Ohne Sahne" lists up everything we can live without and still be happy, "Duister In Het Licht" (Dark In The Light) shows that even in broad daylight there still is darkness,.... All this is served us in a darkwave format, made to dance, made to think. Think while dance. Be conscious while you party the night away.
