Elli de Mon is guitars, bass drum, snare drum, rattles, saturated sounds and psychedelia Indian psychedelia. Drawing heavily from the shamanic tradition of distant spellbinders such as Bessie Smith, Fred McDowell and Son House, but also from the dirtier tradition of bands such as Gun Club, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, the Stooges, Elli fights her demons with the instrument most congenial to her: music.
