The band's third full-length album and their most personal and resonant work to date. Produced by frontman and songwriter Jason Corbett at Vancouver's Jacknife Sound, the album finds ACTORS expanding their signature blend of romantic post-punk and cinematic darkwave into a deeply focused record about mortality, memory, love, and the choice to keep moving forward. The album took on an unexpected meaning when Corbett experienced a serious cardiac health emergency during the writing and recording process, bringing the sessions to an abrupt halt and forcing him to confront the possibility that he might not finish the recordor return to the stage. "Getting wheeled into an emergency room and spending days in the cardiac care unit put me in a state of deep reflection. Would I finish the album? Would I ever be on a stage again?
