Wring, The
Spectra
The Wring started as Don Dewulf solo project. He had a lot of songs written and wanted to get them out. He was lucky enough to connect with Jason, Rob and Dan. They jammed a lot and ended up recording the self-titled album The Wring - released in 2017. They did some cool shows. They were fortunate enough to open for some legendary bands - Diamond Head and Anvil(!). They also did shows with Crone of War, Dead Daisies and Sven Gali and played the Budweiser New Music festival, opening for Finger Eleven and Glorious Sons. In late 2018, He felt it was time for another recording project. The bass player & drummer decided to move on to other things, but Dan MacDonald and Don carried on. They connected with Cory Kottick, a local drummer/musician, and attempted to formulate a new version of The Wring. Over the next year or so, they messed around with songs and ideas. From this, they recorded the single 48 oz. Its only one song, but it turned out really well.
