Warriors, The
Horror Show (random)
The Warriors were a short-lived continuation of The Last Resort. When legendary streetpunk outfit The Last Resort quit in february 1982, the remaining members founded The Warriors. The Warriors recorded just two songs and did only two gigs throughout 1982 before calling it a day. Their first studio effort was the song 'Horror Show' which originally appeared at the 'Oi! Oi! That's Yer Lot!' compilation in september 1982. The band's second studio effort was 'Wicked Women', which originally appeared at the 'United Skins' compilation in october 1982. In november of that year The Warriors played their second and last gig of the 80ies. The band quit en vocalist Roi Pearce joined the 4 Skins while bass player Arthur 'Bilko' Kitchener became an successful and respected ska musician with bands like Arthur Kay's Originators and Arthur Kay & The Originals. In the 90ies The Warriors resurrected with original The Last Resort singer Graham Saxby on vocals while a decade later Roi Pearce restarted The Last Resort. This single collects the only two songs by The Warriors with Roi Pearce on vocals and are now collected on a 7" packed in a fold-out cover with liner notes and pictures. Both songs have been remastered for vinyl and pressed on 45rpm for a better sound quality and comes in random colours: each single has a different vinyl colour.
