The Quebec veterans (from Rimouski, eastern part of Quebec) are back with their 5th album (first for PRC MUSIC) and biggest endeavor yet! The Asylum is a conceptual album, an orchestrated twisted tale of murder divided in 13 chapters. Musically, VORTEX are going back to a more traditional melodic death thrash sound with killer leads, addictive riffs and fluid drums patterns. Melodic yet extreme.
