Per Elisa
"PER ELISA" is a cross-media project combining a music album (Alfa Music) and a book (Florestano Edizioni), conceived by the pianist Giulia Vazzoler (the Italian Pianogirl), a conservatoire lecturer and music critic.Main objective: to free classical music from its elitist image and bring it back into everyday life, making it accessible and intimately connected to the human experience.Project structure: it operates on two parallel tracks, interweaving sound and words, functioning both as a means of musical outreach and as a personal memoir. Masterpieces from the piano repertoire by composers such as Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Debussy and Satie become narrative keys for exploring universal themes and telling personal stories.Narrative approach: each musical piece opens up a narrative in which the history of music merges with the artists lived experience. Classical compositions are transformed from mere masterpieces into soundtracks for encounters, journeys, challenges and inner or geographical frontiers.Inspiration: the work draws on the authors international experiences, including humanitarian missions where music has proven to be a universal language capable of building bridges of communication between different cultures.Aim: to transform listening from a passive act into a deeply human and engaging experience, inviting the audience to use music as a mirror for their own emotions, memories and personal journeys.- Giulia Vazzoler, the Italian Pianogirl
