Tsunami
Tsunami (black)
Founded in the late 70s, TSUNAMI stood as pioneers of the electrifying San Francisco heavy metal scene. They set an unprecedented standard with their 1983 self-titled debut, which defied industry expectations by climbing to #60 on the Billboard Charts with the hit song "The Runaround". At a time when such mainstream success was reserved almost exclusively for the genre's titans, TSUNAMI proved that independent heavy metal was a formidable force on the American metal stage. Originally released by Enigma Records in the United States, the album achieved wide international exposure, successfully reaching European markets with editions in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Germany. It remains TSUNAMI's most successful album and a fan favorite to this day... And now it will finally have the much-deserved official reissue.
