Thirty years after the release of their breakthrough Gold album Wither Blister Burn + Peel, Stabbing Westward return with Wither ReWired, a complete new recording of the landmark 1996 album. This is not a remaster. This is not a remix. This is the album rebuilt from the ground up. Christopher Hall and Walter Flakus revisit the songs that established Stabbing Westward as one of the defining alternative and industrial rock bands of the 1990s, bringing three decades of experience, performance and production into powerful new recordings. The album includes newly recorded versions of "What Do I Have to Do?," "Shame," "Falls Apart," "I Don't Believe" and the complete original album sequence. Wither ReWired was produced by Christopher Hall and Walter Flakus, mastered by Tom Baker and features artwork by David Seidman. The release follows Stabbing Westward's 2026 tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of Wither Blister Burn + Peel. Wither ReWired will be released by COP International on September 10, 2026, on CD and as a strictly limited 180- gram black vinyl edition. The CD includes the exclusive bonus track "Akegata (Dawn)
