SLUGGER hit the scene as one of the best new skinhead rock'n'roll bands to emerge in recent years. With clear Oi! influences, along with their deep roots in hardcore music, SLUGGER has become one of the most exciting bands, especially to see live with lead singer Tommy's energy and direct interaction with the audience. Since crashing into the scene only just 2 years ago with a self-released 2-track cassette, SLUGGER has already released a 10" EP as well as a 7" tour EP, both of which have sold out, been re-pressed and sold out again! This is a band that has caught the attention of music fans and music critics alike with positive reaction (see review below). So to give you a teaser of their debut full-length scheduled for October of 2024, here is the lead single and an exclusive b-side track. "The other two tracks are "Rabid Dogs" and "Turn Their Back." The title track is badass. and has a brick wall sound for foundation but employs big riffs and slides which announce Slugger's presence and allow a solid rock influence. Violent lyrics also establish the band's tolerance to take shit is nil. "Turn Their Back" is a quickie at two minutes, but all of the tracks are two to two and a half minutes.
