Slave Republic
Electric One
The duo stands for modern Indie-Pop where guitar, bass guitar and synthesizers melt together whereas danceable, clean and well structured songs are an extraordinary attribute of the band starting already in the early nineties as quartet. After it was quiet around the band for quite a while, they re-united as a duo three years ago, wrote news songs for a demo being produced by Olaf Wollschlger (And One, Paradise Lost, etc.). With encouraged self-esteem they wrote the song "My Maker" being mixed by Peter Jem Seifert (HIM). The debut album "Electric One", being evidence of enormous musical maturity, composing abilities and long-time experience, emerged out off a symbiosis of catchy refrains but also the courage for experiments. The band will present its live qualities in spring when they open several shows for Synth-Poppers De/Vision and for Sono. 2010 debut album by the Berlin-based electro/wave duo Slave Republics. Sold out for a while, now re-pressed.
