Septentrion's Walk
After the release of several demo tapes and their 1st album (2003), SEYMINHOL, fortified by a ten year experience of the French underground metal scene, release their new downright album, a full-lenght effort featuring 15 tracks firmly directed towards a Symphonic and Epic Heavy style. Their new album, which is structured, as the continuation of the previous one, around a concept based on the eighth century early medieval Scandinavia, transports the listener into a world of tales and legends where historic reality verges on imagination and mythology. Throughout this epic tale, diverse characters contribute to tell a fabulous yet cruel story in which mans determination against evil forces is at the centre of the concerns! Genuine sound effects as well as polished orchestrations provide the whole concept with a melodramatic touch where melodies occupy a prominent position alongside narrated passages. With "Septentrion's Walk", SEYMINHOL hope to achieve wider recognition and to allow fans of Nordic culture and epic tales to dream away in search of an intricate and fantastic civilization, with symphonic and melodic Heavy Metal well to the fore.
