The holidays are literally made to be remembered. Colors, pictures, sounds and smells instantly take us back to those special days. We become children again, watching the first snow of the season. We laugh at presents we never asked for, and dance with friends in the raucous, tipsy glow of midwinter joy. We are transported back to days of security. We revisit old lovers, and recall cold winter nights, wrapped in nothing but each other for warmth. Thats what I wanted to do with this record! To remember. To play the old films of Christmas past in my head, and show them to you. Who knows, maybe one or two of these songs become your own holiday memories. Are you with me?
