Rosy Vista

F.o.r.t.y.

ROSY VISTA from Hanover are generally regarded as the very first female hard rock/metal band in Germany. In the 80s, they played together with well-known bands such as Uriah Heep, Joe Cocker and Manfred Mann's Earth Band or went on promo tours with Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe, among others. In 1984, they released the mini-LP "You Better Believe It", which was, however, neglected by the label at the time and ultimately led to the band's break-up in 1990. However, contact between the band members remained, and the Rockladies continued to play together occasionally, in different line-ups and under different band names. In 2002, the band briefly reunited, but this did not last long due to the members' private commitments. A full 30 years later, the album "Unbelievable" was released via SPV / Steamhammer and has been extremely well received! ROSY VISTA have long since ceased to stand on their own, as they once did, and now have to measure themselves internationally against up-and-coming all-girl formations such as the Amorettes, Thundermother or Burning Witches, but this should leave the Hanoverians pretty cold, because ROSY VISTA are still in a class of their own and have no need to squint at the younger competition. The reviews are overflowing with superlatives such as: "Front woman Andrea Schwarz easily sings all the competition to the wall. A really strong comeback!" Groove monster Marina Hlubek on drums is overjoyed to create an unmistakable symbiosis with new bassist Heike Müller. Band boss, guitarist, singer and producer Anca Graterol: "It all feels so right! I can't believe it - the impulse from before has concreted itself! Rock'n'roll will never die!"
