Circle Of Fifths
One of a series of solo album projects by guitar virtuoso Leslie Ripp, Circle Of Fifths is comprised of ten original instrumental tracks showcasing Leslies unique guitar playing style and sound. The songs are theme based and composed to take you on a musical journey through the different genres of rock, metal, and blues. Powerful and engaging, the album will not only appeal to guitar enthusiasts, but to the average listener as well. Like all of Leslies previous projects, the album is named after one of its songs. Circle Of Fifths is the sixth track on the album and was the inspiration for the album title. The total run time of the album clocks in at a modest thirty-seven minutes as most of the songs were kept under four minutes so as to not let the songs drag on and keep thing tight and efficient. Leslie Ripp not only does all the guitar work, but has played all the other instruments on the album as well, including; guitars, drums, percussion, bass guitar, keyboards, and piano. The album has been self-produced by Leslie and was completed in December of 2019. The main man has done all the recording, mixing, and mastering at his home studio in Hawaii, which he refers to as Witchazel 2 Studios.
