Ramonas, The
Haphazard
The Ramonas quickly made a name for themselves by touring the legendary punk rock circuits of the U.K. and Europe in support of their debut EP, You Asked For It, released in 2016. The following year saw the release of the band's debut album First World Problems, which was met with rave reviews. Within the first two years of the band's inception, The Ramonas had become a staple on the U.K. punk scene with the hard-hitting, melodically catchy songs, coupled with their tightly knit musicianship and ever-explosive stage presence. The band also caught the attention and nod of approval from punk rock royalty & legend Charlie Harper of The U.K. Subs, who has since performed as a guest on Ramonas albums as well as in their music videos. Haphazard is not your average punk rock album. The album was written & arranged remotely during the height of the pandemic, and when The Ramonas stepped into the studio to begin recording Haphazard in June 2021, it was the very first time that the band had seen one another in person since their last show in March 2020. Without having played a single note together as a band in well over a year, The Ramonas went into that studio and tracked the album in its entirety within three days. Haphazard showcases The Ramonas musical versatility, encompassing punk rock and its many sub genres, whilst the album explores a darker side musically and lyrically touching on subjects highlighted during the pandemic. Together with their trademark catchy riffs and melodic hooks, Haphazard is delivered with the attitude and touch of humor that the band is well known for.
