Atoms, The
Low Brow Hi-fi
Hailing from the UK, the Atoms have been kicking around for a few years now. After releasing an album on Monster Zero Records, the band gained the attention of the burgeoning European pop-punk scene over the past few years. The band's knack for melody and witty song writing is sure to catch the ears of any fan of Green Day era Lookout Records. The trio recorded this album with Joe Queer of The Queers, who also sings on some of the tunes. All of the tracks are short and to the point, full of aggression and melody. Low Brow Hi-Fi, features some of the ugliest and erratic artwork we've ever seen, but the music more than makes up for it. This record was a long time coming and hit a bunch of snags on the way, but it was well worth the wait.
