Dedicated to power rock/metal from the start, the band was formed in 1980 by frontman Ritchie Wilhelm. Now PROTZ present their debut album! With their hard and melodic energy rock, PROTZ has garnered an unusually loyal fan base that has lasted for decades. Performances at various festivals such as Wacken Open Air or G.O.N.D. But also beyond the borders of Germany, like the South Tyrolean Alpen Flair, the power rockers from Hesse inspired their audience. Not to forget concerts with well-known bands such as Girlschool, Nitrogods, Helloween, Eisbrecher, etc. Not to forget how PROTZ scooped the "Rock and Pop Prize" in Hamburg in 2003.
