"Is This Blues?" it is the second recording work of the saxophonist Piergiorgio Elia and he decides to change the line-up thanks to the precious meeting at the Milan Conservatory with the pianist Mirko Puglisi. The Quartet is completed with the arrival of Giacomo Marzi on double bass and Pasquale Guarro on drums. All the compositions are signed by the leader Piergiorgio Elia who developed the songs according to the Call/Response concept. Refined ballads and more ""up"" songs typical of the jazz language make the album a coherent release.
