Nocte Obducta

Nocte Obducta were formed in Summer 1993 under the name Desihra. The Band's debut album, though, was released not earlier than Spring 1999. During the following years, Nocte Obducta released seven additional albums. Their music featured a wide array of styles, from raw Black/Death Metal to sophisticated Longtracks, as well as journeys into Post- and Artrock and Soundscapes. Therefore the music press, in particular after 2004, labeled Nocte Obducta "Avantgarde Black Metal". Following the 2008 release of their Album "Sequenzen einer Wanderung", an experimental and for long periods of the record instrumental full-length, the Band gave themselves a break and retired from Stages and Recording Studios. With "Verderbnis (Der Schnitter kratzt an jeder T Obducta now return with a record focussing on unpolished, crude early-90's Black Metal, which nevertheless includes all of the Band's trademarks and their passion for musical detail.
