Noblesse Oblige
Privilege Entails Responsibility
Re-Release of the Noblesse Oblige debut album Privilege Entails Responsibility. Originally released in the UK only in 2006, this is the album that established Noblesse Oblige on the international Indie/Electro scene with early club hits such as Bitch, Daddy (Dont Touch Me There) and Offensive Nonsense. Like its successor IN EXILE, the album contains a wild mix of musical references, from the gothic blues of "Nervous" over Prokofiev-sampling "Caligula" to Gallic pop tribute "Quel Genre de Garcon" and soundtrack ballad "Night Train To Krakow". The albums raw and energetic, gloomy art-pop combined with the bands trademark lyrical wit and dark humour has gained Noblesse Oblige a growing cult following.
