Narbeleth
Through Blackness And Remote Places
Formed in 2008, Narbeleth is a one-man black metal project based in Cuba, created by former Ancestor guitarist Dakkar. Through Blackness and Remote Places is the projects third full length album of scathing black metal inspired by the likes of Judas Iscariot, Taake and 1349 and features eight tracks across thirty-four minutes. Continuing the tradition of covering a track by one of the bands main influences, which started on the 2012 EP Hail Black Metal, this offering features a cover of Judas Iscariots "Gaze Upon Heaven in Flames". hrough Blackness and Remote Places covers a lot of ground, from fiery pacing to mid-tempo swagger. Dakkars third full length album is filled with solid riffing and an acerbic atmosphere that fans of the second wave revival should surely enjoy.
