(h)armonies: New Music Dialogues For Flute
A flute journey through premieres and re-imaginings: Harmonies binds roots to horizons. Extended techniques and cantabile coexist: from Takemitsus theatrical Voce to Beeftinks Celtic inflections, Paniccias inner sea (first recording), and a Chopin Nocturne transcribed for bass flute. Newly dedicated works by Venturi and Tiutiunnik (world premieres) stand alongside Taglietti, Popp, Cirugeda and Lindquist. The C, alto and bass flutes become a narrative medium between memory and invention, inviting both specialists and curious listeners into a dialogue that embraces innovation while preserving the poetry of sound.
