Monads combine elements of slow and dragging funeral doom with melodic death/doom parts. The combination is a completely crushing, heavy and unique atmosphere that redefines the meaning of 'doom'. Once in a while we are surprised with influences from other styles, like in 'Broken Gates to Nowhere', where we find ourselves drifting away on a post-rock influenced second half, reminding of Daturah, God is an Astronaut and Mono;
