Mercy House
A Broken State Of Bliss
Described by Kerrang! Radios Alex Baker as a band possessing, "killer riffs, monstrous vocals and more hooks than a slaughterhouse", Londons powerhouse heavy-rock innovators THE MERCY HOUSE are now poised to strike at the heart of the rock scene with an iron fist. Carefully crafted during much of last year at London based Death Dojo studios with production team The Picasso Brothers, their imminent debut album A BROKEN STATE OF BLISS was mixed by Donald Clark (Guns N Roses, Korn, Muse) and mastered by Mandy Parnell (Depeche Mode, The Prodigy, Bjork) A trend and scene defying record, it possesses a dark, gritty and visceral post-apocalyptic quality that pioneers what is quickly being labelled as the "black grunge" sound. It features their anthemic, shotgun-blast-to-the-face first single Greed, a song that Kerrang! Magazines Simon Young described as "dripping with menace"
