This album came about without me asking permission. It welled up from deep within me without me even realising it.I never thought Id be able to write my own music, accustomed as I am to performing pieces by the greatest composers of the past. One day, however, in June 2012, I sat down at the piano and, without thinking, picked up the stave and began to write.I let everything flow, without setting any limits or stylistic barriers, and these compositions were born - ones to which I am very attached, because they describe, or rather, embody the emotions I was experiencing at thatprecise moment whilst I was writing.I now realise that all this stemmed from an overwhelming creative energy, the arrival of which coincided with the birth of my daughters, Elena and Flavia, and which has never left me since.I decided to dedicate the pieces to the four elements, thanks to which we breathe, live and think every day.*Elementi danima* is also linked to the Energia Creatrice project, conceived in collaboration with the naturopath and iridologist Federica Nena, with whom I have developed a close working relationship aimed at demonstrating the benefits of empathic listening to this music on our minds and bodies.Now, you too, as you listen to me, are taking hold of a little piece of my life.
