Kommando Marlies
Eskalation Ja Klar
The new band with Uwe Umbroch (known from e.g. the Revolvers, Public Toys, ...), Kommando Marlies, are now releasing their first album after their EP. Two songs from the EP made it onto the album. The rest is new! Deutschpunk will be shown in its best form in 36 minutes. Simple three chords, no stupid "Oi!" Interjections and good lyrics. There is 36 minutes of honest music! In terms of content, it is often about interpersonal relationships: past loved ones, racism and everyday life. Many stories from life are told. Prime example Tommy, a song about the guy in the circle of friends who lived too wild. Most of the people here probably have their Tommy sitting somewhere. Finally, there is a tribute to The Stooges and it is quoted from Search And Destroy. A very successful album.
