The Amsterdam septet KOFFIE returns with Kokon. Their fourth album is the next step in the musical journey they started in 2013. At Kokon, the band celebrates the past decade and brings their modern mix of soulful afro funk, hip hop, Brazilian percussion and artisanal pop melodies to stages and festivals near you. On their fourth album Kokon, the Amsterdam septet KOFFIE focuses on the dance floor with a collection of songs built from rich afro funk and percussive workouts. The sound has been stripped down to a compact b-boy sound in which the sax solos have made way for feel-good riffs and Brazilian-inspired percussion where the guitar and synth riffs excel in between. Kokon is the next step in KOFFIE's evolution towards a sound that sounds tighter, funkier and tastier than ever.
