Jey Khemeya
Independence
More ambitious than her previous project, "Independence" is the very first album from Jey Khemeya. Composed and arranged by rapper Leonem, this rich and eclectic 12-track opus explores a wide palette of moods and boldly asserts the artist's independence. Jey delivers daring choices, both on the record and on stage, where the project will come to life through a brand-new interactive scenography. The album also develops the theme of travel, which is closely linked to this quest for freedom. Its sound design invites listeners on a true journey around the world, fueled by multiple influences, testimonies, and diverse inspirations. With "Independence," Jey delivers an accomplished, dazzling, and masterfully crafted debut album. The project is also available in an exceptional physical edition as a double vinyl LP featuring 3 exclusive live versions. An immersive musical journey you won't want to miss.
