At the origin of JC JESS, theres only one man, a talented guitarist who had decided to continue on his own. So he recorded two full-length albums at the SavernStudio entitled "Matter in Your Hand" (2007) and "Wake of the Dead" (2008). At the same time, JC had to set up a band in order to play his songs live. Thats why today JC JESS can be considered as a band in its own right composed of JC (Guitars/Vocals), Caius (Drums), Dick (Guitars) and Juju (Bass). Afterwards, JC joined one of the major Heavy Metal bands in France, Nightmare, which enables JC JESS to gain more visibility in the international Metal landscape. And after that, the EP "Extratime" was released in 2009, and the band started a live tour throughout in the whole French country, which led them to cities like Grenoble, Lille, Rennes, Nantes, Tours, Poitier and Marseille. And in April 2011, with the help of the French label Brennus, JC JESS is about to release his 3rd album entitled "Battlefront", with an exclusive bonus DVD of a live show performed in 2010. "Battlefront" is the album which sets a real turn in the music of the band. Firstly, its an album able to compete with the most recent productions thanks to his powerful high-quality sound, but also thanks to the composition of the songs which, as usual, are real war machines designed for live concerts, and they are even more catchy. With this release, JC JESS has already planned about 30 live dates everywhere in France, and is going to plan other gigs for September 2011 in order to spread his modern Heavy Metal, some really loud Metal music played with big bollocks.
