Igut
Eternities
IGUT formed in 2002 in Zagreb, Croatia, and since then have developed their own style of black rock: brutal guitars, heavy drumming and dark lyrics layered together to create a wall of intense negativity and strength. Their varied influences include: Converge, Opeth, Mastodon, Neurosis, All, Descendents, Led Zeppelin...and surprisingly, Johnny Cash. Its from these varied sources that they have taken inspiration for their debut album for Mother Should Know Records. Recorded and produced in Zagreb by Ivan Jakic, Eternities is a call to arms, relentless and uncompromising. IGUT are determined to bring their music out of Croatia where they have received massive support on Student Radio and where they have been featured on ZI Croatian TV Channel. For the last few years they have been firm favourites on the Festival Circuit in Croatia, and Slovenia supporting many well-respected bands on the Eastern European leg of their tour
