I Cyclops
Any band featuring ex-Humpers/Lovesores' Scott "Deluxe" Drake at the helm is worth your attention, and Portland's Guerrilla Teens are no exception. With former Humpers/Lovesores gunslingers Jeff Fieldhouse and Saul Koll in tow anda solid rhythm section (Bill Connolly and Anna Anderson on drums and bass, respectively), the GT's continue the dirty rock & roll tradition of the aforementioned bands without sounding like a copy of either. The Teens tread darker waters, both musically and lyrically. This limited edition 7" contains two new songs, "I Cyclops" and "Pride of the Savanna", both of which feature some tasty organthat gives these tunes a 60's garage rock feel while not sounding retro. All in all, this is another great GT's release youwon't want to miss!
