Geschwister Messner
Bohmischer Traum
The Messner siblings' first joint performance took place in Obervintl in 2007. In 2009, their song "Der Wasserfall im Pustertal" (The Waterfall in the Puster Valley) won first place at the International Children's Grand Prix of Folk Music. This was followed by further performances in South Tyrol and Germany, as well as their first radio and television appearances. With the song "Unser Herz schlägt für die Volksmusik" (Our Heart Beats for Folk Music), Sonja and Andreas once again reached the finals of the International Children's Grand Prix of Folk Music. Fifteen folk songs with vocals, from waltzes and marches to polkas and Bavarian folk tunes, all embody the young and traditional folk music with which the Messner siblings aim to delight their audience! Our Dutch neighbors have developed a particular fondness for the Messner siblings' music. Their song "Böhmischer Traum" (Bohemian Dream) has landed on several Dutch radio playlists and become a party hit in the Netherlands. After a few weeks, the wave of success spread across the German border, and the Dutch DJ di Granati discovered that "Bohemian Dream" could also be remixed brilliantly.
