Originally recorded in Poland in 2003 and previously only available as part of the Sleepy Buildings sessions, the deluxe edition of Katowice features new cover artwork and will have two limited runs of 500 copies (Black and marbled red vinyl). From the haunting melodies of Adrenaline to the atmospheric sweep of Sand & Mercury, and the slow-burning emotional power of The May Song, the album is a masterclass in restraint, atmosphere and vocal grace with van Giersbergens performance described as "spellbinding".
