Far Away
Afterlife Of The Wild Pt.1 - Absence
Far Away develops a modern sonic identity at the crossroads of Post-Rock, Post-Metal, and Progressive Metal. This EP introduces Act I of the concept album "Afterlife Of The Wild", a work dedicated to environmental themes that depicts a world initially emptied of its wildlife, frozen in oblivion and artificial silence. Musically, the EP relies on heavy dynamic contrasts with a modern production. Influences range from the violence of Viatrophy to the mathematical and syncopated heaviness of Meshuggah, all tinged with massive saturated guitars, subtle Southern Rock touches, and lead guitar Post-Rock atmospheres. The tracks are built around progressive structures, featuring Death Metal sections and a highly melodic bass. The vocals are particularly versatile, shifting from the intensity of Gojira to nuances reminiscent of Pink Floyd or Katatonia, completed by an extensive work on backing vocals and choirs. These new tracks have already been tested on stage and showcased during a 6-date tour in Japan in June 2026, ahead of the official release parties scheduled in France this October.
