Elan
Voix LactÉe
"Voix Lact,e" is Elan's new EP, where intimate songwriting meets an organic, percussive, and distinctly contemporary production. Across these five tracks, the singer and cellist explores the connections that shape us, balancing vulnerability with self-assertion. Honest, unfiltered lyrics are carried by music that is both sensitive and incisive. Written throughout her pregnancy and completed as her daughter celebrated her first birthday, this EP is deeply rooted in that transformative chapter of Elan's life. Its title, "Voix Lact,e" , reflects the twenty-one months during which a new life reshaped the artist's perspective, while these songs gradually found their final form. This story also extends to the EP's artwork. The cover features a photograph taken during Elan's pregnancy, from a series of images that gives the record a deeply personal and symbolic dimension. With "Voix Lact,e", Elan delivers a sincere and confident body of work, where the deeply personal resonates with the universal.
