La Route Du Nord' is the debut album of LE FLAMAND. Kurt Vanhengel (b. 1971) is a singer-songwriter from Limburg (Belgium) with a passion for literary translation and chanson. Writing in French and Spanish, Le Flamand offers a refined blend of folk and classical chanson. His songs, both lyrically and musically, unmistakably exude a poetic sense of nostalgia.
